Testimonial Part 3

I finished my TMS treatment in July, and it's now December. I was in the process of buying a home when I wasn't feeling well, and it ended up being a pretty arduous task. Between TMS and changing my surroundings and just having that stasis again, I'm so much happier. It was very important to me that Active Recovery TMS be located where they were. It was very convenient, and since we do have to go, you know, five times a week, so I need to be able to have a very short commute to TMS, so that I can get back to my job and continue my day. The nice thing about TMS treatment is you walk in the door, you undergo the treatment, they talk to you very briefly about how you're feeling, make sure everything is good. And it always is. You walk back out, and you go about your life. For anybody who is on the fence about TMS treatment, I would definitely recommend that you reach out to Active Recovery and take that opportunity to investigate further. I'm just really glad that I made that call to Dr. Horey, and I set that first appointment...

At Active Recovery TMS, our goal is to provide a safe and effective alternative treatment for depression. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an especially important treatment option for those who have not had success with standard depression treatments like medication and/or therapy.

Our co-founder, Dr. Horey, became familiar with TMS while training and working at Columbia University in New York City where many of the early and important studies on TMS were conducted. Dr. Horey has since completed more extensive training in TMS and keeps himself up-to-date with the latest research on brain stimulation techniques, including TMS.
